Photos! I love photos, especially polaroids. I think it's nice to have some personal photos in your room. Not only does it look cute, it's a constant reminder of good memories and nice people in your life. Oh, and they can make a white wall look less boring! Stick polaroids, or even just normal printed pictures, on your wall or attach them to a small wire. Since I absolutely love the polaroids on a wire idea, I will try this out myself and make a DIY on that soon!

My next favourite item essential for a cosy room, are fairy lights. I absolutely love fairy lights and I think anyone who know me can tell I do, since my room is full of it. Fairy lights are super cute and give a more festive feeling to your room, even when it's not a holiday. They are also quite cheap and easy to buy and put up in your room.

One of the most important things in your bedroom, is your bed. And what can make a bed even more better than good and pretty bedding? I love comfy bed sheets and I prefer my bedding to be mostly white, because it looks fresh and pretty. My last room decoration tip, is plants. Yes. Plants. Now, when you think of back to school essentials you might not immediately think of plants, but in my opinion they are a great accessoire if your room looks a bit bald and empty. Decorating a few areas in your room with little cacti, or some bigger plants, can give your room an exotic feel. Plus, it is a very easy and cheap way to make your room a bit more interesting and alive.
