Happy December everyone! December is my favourite month of the year. I just love everything about it and to be honest, I am (a bit too) excited for it. That is why I listed up a few reasons of why you should love december. Let's continue!

• Snow. Even though quite some people find snow horrible, I happen to love it. It just makes everything look so magical and beautiful. It's just cute, okay.
• Christmas. I don't even need to explain this.
• Fashion. I love layering things up when it comes to clothing and I think december is perfect for that. Scarfs, hats, sweaters, boots (and christmas onesies and pj's...). On top of that it's also an excuse to re-fill your wardrobe. 

• Hot drinks and food. Hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows, christmas specials at Starbucks, gingerbread man cookies, candy canes...Oh yas.
• The cold weather. Now, don't get me wrong: I can not handle cold and I hate being cold. But, I do think that with cold, a few advantages come along. For example, cold weather gives you more excuses to treat yourself a bit more often on a coffee or hot chocolate. Basically, you deserve it, especially with this cold. So yeah.

• December gives you the opportunity to do activities you can not always do all year round. In a lot of cities they open up a public ice rink, where everyone can go ice skating, which can be a lot of fun.

• Christmas songs and movies. I know there are people out there that absolutely cringe when they hear christmas songs, like a few friends of mine, but christmas songs are literally one of my guilty pleasures. All I Want For Christmas by Mariah Carey was just my childhood christmas jam, and it still is. Christmas movies are also one of my favourites, I think they are so cute and festive to watch when christmas is around the corner. (Home Alone, what's good).

• The atmosphere. I always love it when cities get decorated with lights and christmas trees are put everywhere, which gives a cozy feeling. In my opinion these decorations always makes places look prettier. That is also one of the reasons I love travelling around this time.

• New Years Eve. December is the last month of the year, so the beginning of a new year to look forward to!

I think denim jackets are one of the most worn items in my wardrobe. They go with basically everything and I just love the edgy look that they bring to an outfit. Recently I noticed falling in love more and more with denim jackets with a white woolen collar, so called 'borg collars.' What is really nice, is that a lot of times, the 'borg' is coated in the whole inside of the jacket. I think that is a perfect for these colder months, since denim jackets itself can lack a bit of warmth. I thought I would put some examples together to hopefully spread some inspiration on how great this item is, especially for this time of the year. Tip: if you feel like these jackets are a bit expensive or they are hard to find, try men sections in clothing stores or vintage shops. A lot of times you'll find them there also!
