Three days in Milan | Travel Diary

Ever since the summer of 2017, I have fallen head over heels with Italy. The authentic atmosphere on the streets, the way you could be suprised around each corner with yet another beautiful hidden view  and the espresso's left me longing to come back and explore more Via's and bistro's. Moving along Venice, Florence and Rome last summer, I missed one city which one must have been to. Milan. And this fall it was time to pick a few days to explore the fashion capital of Europe.




On this trip I took my sister, as it was initially my main birthday present from me for her. She has always wanted to go to Milan, so for her 18th birthday I booked us a flight and a room for three days. We stayed at Madama Hostel & Bistrot, which was the nicest hostel I've been in so far. For this trip I chose an hostel over a hotel just because you get to have a bit more of a local vibe and meet new people. It was a very  vibrant place and I would definitely recommend if you were ever looking to find a nice hostel in Milan. Below you'll find snapshots that captured bits from our  little trip.
